Darwin Foundation in Chile

The Science and Evolution Foundation has been operating as a legal entity since May 18, 2008, when it was granted by Decree # 1749 from the Chilean Ministry of Justice. The Board of Directors and the Executive Committee are currently organizing an extended agenda of activities.

This initiative was developed by a like-minded group of people, all interested in understanding social and individual behaviours from an evolutionary perspective, which has become a profoundly influential paradigm in the knowledge of human beings. [+] Continue Reading…

Seminars and Promotion Activities

The Science and Evolution Foundation is organizing in Chile a series of International Seminars in addition to the world celebrations of Charles Darwin’s birth, 200 years ago.

El Mercurio will provide support to the initiatives by the publication in its Sunday Supplement “Artes y Letras”, interviews and essays by our special guests, which will include their thoughts and articles on the evolutionary perspective. El Mercurio will also collaborate with the information and promotion of the events.
